Who doesn’t
love an old fashioned cheese ball? It’s
the perfect party food to serve with crackers, baguette slices, or
veggies. Cheese balls don't have to be boring! Use whatever cheese or combination of cheeses you like; add cranberries, scallions, chopped green chilis, bacon or such. I just got back from St. Maarten, where on the Dutch side I enjoyed Gouda cheese almost every day. So being a Gouda cheese fan, I
made a Gouda cheese ball and am happy with the result! Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
2 8-ounce
packages low fat cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded
Gouda cheese
1 (1-ounce) package ranch dressing mix
½ teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ cups
chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS:
Mix together
cream cheese, Gouda, ranch dressing mix and Worcestershire sauce until well
combined. Shape into one large or two
smaller cheese balls. Roll in chopped
pecans and wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
